Run an Event
Hosting your own event under NGA UK is simple and straightforward, presenting a fantastic opportunity for clubs to generate additional revenue while engaging their gymnasts in meaningful local competition. There are two ways in which you can host an event with NGA UK, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your club, facility, and experience level.
1. Venue Hire to NGA UK
Clubs may hire their facilities to NGA UK, creating an opportunity to generate income while an experienced NGA UK event organiser manages and delivers the competition. This option is ideal for clubs who want the financial benefit of hosting, without taking on the responsibility of organising the event itself. This option would mean the event would be classed as a qualifier (scores can be added to our database for qualification to National Finals).
2. Licensed NGA Invitational Events
Following a model similar to that used in the USA, clubs may apply to purchase a licence to host their own NGA Invitational competition. This will mean scores will not count towards a National Final Qualification but will give your gymnasts an opportunity for competitive experience close to home. The licence fee is £50.00 per event and includes hosting guidelines, along with permission to use the NGA UK Technical Handbook and rules. Approval is based on previous experience with NGA UK events, and the suitability of the facility.
With a licensed event, you’ll receive clear guidance on organising your competition the NGA UK way, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. You’ll also have the flexibility to tailor your event materials to suit your club’s branding and identity, while benefiting from promotion via the NGA UK website to increase visibility and attract participants.
